Skeletal remains identified as missing Wood River man WOOD RIVER, Ill – Veron L. Law, 36, lived in Wood River, has been identified as the person whose skeletal remains have been found. He was last seen in July 2022. The remains were examined by Madison County Coroner Steve Nonn who confirmed that they were Law's through matching dental records. 4 people critically injured in Riverside head-on collision Four people, including two children, suffered critical injuries in a head-on collision in Riverside early Tuesday, authorities said.The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. at Arlington and Stover avenues, and involved a Nissan sedan and a white Honda sedan.The male driver of the Nissan and three passengers, including two juveniles, were rushed to a hospital in critical condition, a Riverside police spokesperson told KTLA.
