The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District is hosting its first annual College Block Party on Sunday, September 10, starting at 11 a.m. Restaurants, bars, and shops will open their doors for everyone to stop by and see what Downtown Troy has to offer. CREVE COEUR, Mo. – A man who was yelling at officers and threatening them with a bat during a welfare check is now facing charges of resisting arrest and using offensive language in public. Omar Carrera, 42, has been charged with assault and resisting arrest. The court has set his bond at $75,000, cash-only. ST. LOUIS – A woman from St. Louis County is facing charges for fighting with her cousin over a man. The fight escalated into a stabbing, fortunately, not resulting in fatal harm to the cousin. On September 1, 2023, they engaged in an argument that turned physical. The fight was interrupted twice before Ervin retrieved a knife from the kitchen and chased the victim throughout the house with it. During the chase, Ervin stabbed the victim in the hip with the knife. When the police arrived, they discovered a knife in the kitchen that was wet from being washed. A woman found dead in rural Arapahoe County in August has been identified, and her death has been classified as a homicide.The body of Grabriela Ibanez, 44, identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner Sept. 6, was found Aug. 23 by Arapahoe County deputies in a roadside field off Colfax Avenue between Bennett and Strasburg.#ALERT Multiple deputies are on scene of an active death investigation between Bennett and Strasburg. Motorcycle Vs. 27-Year-Old Man, 4-Year-Old Kid Killed in Auto Collision near Bethel AvenueFRESNO COUNTY, CA (September 7, 2023) – Friday, Adrian Gonzalez and Enrique Flores Jr. were killed in a car accident on Jefferson Avenue.Officers responded to the scene just before 8:00 a.m., near Bethel Avenue on September 1st.Per reports, Gonzalez was heading east in a Honda on Jefferson and drove through a stop sign at the intersection.
